Dakine Mission Pro 25L Backpack 2025 | Pureed Pumpkin
A low-profile 25L pack for resort laps and quick backcountry missions.
The Dakine Mission Pro 25L Backpack, here in Pureed Pumpkin, is a low-profile pack for lift-serve and backcountry riding. It's big enough to stash everything you need to chase fresh lines beyond the boundary, but slim enough to ride the chair all day.
A clamshell design gives you a separate pocket with sleeves for your shovel and probe, plus a main compartment for layers, skins and essential gear. It's hydration ready with an insulated sleeve in the shoulder strap, or run a two-way radio handset there instead. Carry your board vertically or skis and splitboard diagonally, with a 25mm padded hip belt and zippered side pocket keeping it all locked in.

About Dakine
Dakine started on Maui's North Shore in 1979, when surfer Rob Kaplan began making surf leashes in Haiku. In 1986 the brand moved to Hood River, Oregon, at the foot of Mt Hood, and the snow side took off from there. Dakine is also the crew behind the original Heli Pack, launched in 1996 as a low-volume pack for backcountry riders and skiers.
Today Dakine is known for packs that are built by riders and tested hard on the hill. Its team signature packs carry the names of riders like Jamie Anderson, Red Gerard and Sammy Carlson, and the range runs from everyday school and work packs to dedicated backcountry touring packs. If you want a bag that's sorted, tough and easy to live with, Dakine is a name riders have trusted for decades.
FAQs
Will the Mission Pro 25L carry my snowboard?
Yes. It has vertical snowboard carry, plus diagonal carry for skis or a splitboard. The straps keep the board tight to your back for bootpacks.
Is it avalanche-tool ready?
Yes. A dedicated pocket with sleeves holds your shovel and probe, separate from the main compartment. The tools aren't included. Recommended for any trip beyond the ropes: do an avalanche safety course and always carry a transceiver, shovel and probe, and know how to use them.
Does it fit a hydration bladder?
Yes. It's compatible with an insulated hydration system routed through the shoulder strap, or a two-way radio handset. A reservoir isn't included.
Is 25L the right size?
25L suits resort days and short backcountry laps: shovel, probe, a spare layer, gloves, food and water. For full touring days with skins and more layers, step up to a 32L pack.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
