Men's Snowboard Bindings

What flex do you need?

Flex is the primary decision, and it follows how you ride rather than how long you have been riding.

• Soft bindings are forgiving and damp. Ideal for park riding, jibbing and progression, where you want the binding to absorb a slightly sloppy landing rather than punish it.
• Mid-flex is the most popular range and the one that works in the widest set of conditions. If you are not sure, start here.
• Stiff bindings are for hard chargers who want every heel-edge and toe-edge input translated immediately through to the board.

Should binding flex match your board?

Roughly, yes. A soft binding on a stiff, aggressive board wastes what the board can do, because your input gets absorbed before it reaches the edge. A stiff binding on a soft park board makes the whole setup feel harsh and unforgiving.

Matching them is more important than either one in isolation.

How do you size bindings?

Always match binding size to your boot size, never to your height or your board length. This is the most common mistake made ordering online and it is completely avoidable.

Come into the Richmond store for a fit check, or call us and we will confirm sizing before you order.

Will they fit your board?

Most bindings work with all major mounting systems, but it is worth checking against your board's insert pattern before ordering, particularly if you ride a Burton with the Channel. We will confirm compatibility if you are unsure.
