Shorty's Bolts Allen 1 1/8"
The in-between length, with an Allen key in the pack.
Shorty's 1 1/8" Allen hardware fills the gap between standard and riser length bolts. It suits setups running thin riser or shock pads, or thicker decks where a 1" bolt comes up short.
At 1 1/8" (about 29mm), with half threaded shafts that resist bending and breaking, these are tough bolts. The smaller countersinking head puts less stress on your deck and saves a little weight, and an Allen key comes in the pack so you can set up and adjust on the spot.

About Shorty's
Shorty's is a California hardware brand, founded in 1991 by Tony Buyalos and April Hamrick around one simple idea: deck bolts that are the right length. It later ran a deck program with a team that included Chad Muska and Peter Smolik, before stepping back from decks in 2006 to focus on hardware.
Today Shorty's is best known for its deck bolts and bushings. Its bolts are half threaded to resist bending and snapping, and they use a smaller countersinking head that puts less stress on your deck. It is simple hardware done properly, which is why so many shops and skaters keep a set in the bag.
FAQs
What length bolts do I need?
For a standard deck with no risers, 7/8" or 1" is right. Add 1/8" risers and go to 1.25". Bigger risers or thick decks need 1.5" or longer. You want the bolt to come through the nut fully without sticking out far past it.
Allen or Phillips bolts?
Allen bolts use a hex key, which grips better and is less likely to strip, and most skate tools have one built in. Phillips bolts use a screwdriver, which is easy to find anywhere. This set is Allen, and the key is included.
How many bolts are in a pack? Is it enough for one board?
Yes. You get 8 bolts, 8 nuts and an Allen key, enough to mount two trucks to one deck.
When should I use 1 1/8" bolts?
When a 1" bolt doesn't quite reach through the nut, for example with thin riser or shock pads, or a thicker deck. For 1/8" risers, 1 1/4" is the usual pick.
