That's the starting point for choosing waterproofing on women's pants. 10,000mm handles regular groomed runs and lift rides; if you're in the park, riding through rain or spending time in deep snow, you want 15,000mm or above. Critically sealed seams at the crotch and inner leg are especially important for women's pants where the seam geometry is more complex. Look for fully taped seams on pants you're planning to push hard in wet conditions.

Bib pants are increasingly popular with women riders and we stock a good range. The bib format eliminates the cold gap between jacket and pant completely, stays secure regardless of riding position, and the over-the-shoulder straps distribute the weight better than a waistband.
