Been running the MTE boots for years lift ops and maintenance, better than Sorrels now that they've got a zip side!

Fat boy from 12 Boards

I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

The Power Freestyle Weapon for Riders Who Charge Hard

Jamie Lynn never sits still — he's constantly pushing his skating, his art, and his snowboarding further, and this board is his own vision of a dream power-freestyle deck for riders who go hard with zero compromise. It carries a powerful flex and aggressive camber through a stable, speed-friendly radial sidecut, with a big floaty nose that planes through soft snow and a tapered tail that settles confidently into big landings and straight-line run-outs. If your idea of a warm-up lap is the gnarliest run of the day — and you finish on something even gnarlier — this is your board.

  • A power freestyle pedigree built on skate-influenced roots and decades of pro performance
  • From resort laps to lifetime heli-access at Baldface and Valhalla
  • Pure camber feel paired with a smooth, predictable sidecut

Board art by: 1910 (@_9teenten_), Jamie Lynn (@jamiemlynn) and Schoph (@_schoph_)

At the core is Lib Tech's Camber Directional contour — a mild rocker zone underfoot blended into dominant camber out through the tip and tail. The result is full contact and control in every condition, what Lib Tech calls "Awesome Everywhere": the central rocker builds in carve, edge hold and float, while the camber zones load up serious pop and stability when you commit to a line. Paired with Magne-Traction® edge serrations, the Jamie Lynn turns firm, icy groomers — the kind of mornings you get at most Australian resorts before the snow softens up — into genuinely confident edge hold, even when you're pushing speed.

Underneath Jamie's signature art, the board is built with Lib Tech's Original Power (OP) core — 75% Aspen and 25% Paulownia — for a light, lively, environmentally-conscious platform with real backbone. Triaxial/biaxial fiberglass laminate adds snap and stability through the flex pattern, while Birch internal sidewalls and UHMW sintered sidewalls (with UHMW tip and tail impact deflection) keep the board tough enough to handle hard landings and crud without flinching. The Eco Sublimated TNT base is fast, low-maintenance, and built to take punishment, and the whole board is handbuilt at Mervin Manufacturing in Washington State, USA.

Why Ride the Lib Tech Jamie Lynn?

  • Camber Directional Contour – Mild rocker underfoot blended into dominant camber at tip and tail for full contact, control, and pop in every condition
  • Magne-Traction® – Edge serrations bite into firm, icy groomers without catching, turning ice into genuine grip
  • Big Floaty Tapered Nose – Planes effortlessly in soft snow and settles confidently into big landings and straight-line run-outs
  • Original Power (OP) Core – 75% Aspen / 25% Paulownia for a light, lively, environmentally-conscious platform with real power

  • Birch & UHMW Sintered Sidewalls – Built to absorb hard landings and punishment without losing pop or durability
  • Eco Sublimated TNT Base – Fast and low-maintenance, built to stand up to a full season of abuse
  • Medium to Medium-Stiff Flex (6–7/10) – Powerful and locked-in, built for aggressive riders who want stability at speed
  • 2x4 Inserts – Standard pattern for wide binding compatibility and stance adjustment
  • Handbuilt in the USA – Made at Mervin Manufacturing in Washington State, the same factory behind GNU and Bent Metal

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Jamie Lynn suitable for beginners, or is it strictly for advanced riders?
This one's built for confident, aggressive riders rather than first-time boarders. The medium to medium-stiff flex and dominant camber reward strong technique and a more assertive riding style — it wants you to commit to your line, not ease into it. If you're an intermediate-to-advanced rider who charges groomers, pushes speed, and wants a board that holds its line through crud and chop, the Jamie Lynn delivers. If you're still building basics, we'd point you toward a softer progression board in-store instead — ask us and we'll get you on the right deck.

What bindings pair best with the Jamie Lynn?
The Jamie Lynn uses a standard 2x4 insert pattern, so it's compatible with the vast majority of bindings on the market. Given this board's powerful flex and aggressive camber, we'd recommend matching it with a medium-stiff to stiff binding that can keep up — the Burton Men's Cartel X, Jones Apollo Pro, and Bent Metal Lightning Supermatic are all excellent matches we stock in-store. Each gives you the response and support this board is built to reward. Not sure what suits your setup? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or come in and we'll build you a complete kit.

How do I choose the right size Jamie Lynn for my height and weight?
Lib Tech's sizing is based on minimum rider weight rather than a tight range, so use it as your starting guide: 150cm suits riders from around 45kg, 156cm from around 55kg, and 159cm/160W from around 60kg. If you're between sizes, sizing down keeps things more playful and easier to throw around; sizing up adds stability for charging at speed. The 160W is the same length as the 159 but with a wider waist (26.7cm vs 25.7cm) — a better match if you're a US10.5+ or wide-foot rider who wants to avoid toe and heel drag.

Is this a powder board, an all-mountain board, or a park board?
All three, with a clear lean toward charging hard. The big floaty nose and tapered tail give it genuine float in soft snow and natural pow days, while the directional camber and Magne-Traction edges mean it carves groomers and holds speed with real confidence. It's not a true park twin — it rides best pointed downhill rather than switch — but it'll happily boost off natural side hits and big jumps along the way. Think one-board quiver for a rider who wants to charge the whole mountain, not just lap the park.

LIB TECH ORCA II & GOLDEN ORCA

Lib Tech 2027 Snowboard Collection

Lib Tech snowboards are built by Mervin Manufacturing in Sequim, Washington — the only major snowboard company still handmaking boards in the United States. While every other major brand shifted production to Asia, Lib Tech stayed. The result is tighter quality control, faster innovation, and boards built by the same riders who test them in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. The 2027 Lib Tech range at Twelve Board Store includes the T-Rice Orca II, T.Rice Apex Orca II, T.Rice Golden Orca, Lib Rig, and DPR — covering everything from progressive all-mountain freeride to freestyle performance. Every board carries Lib Tech's patented Magne-Traction® edge technology, eco-responsible construction, and the handmade quality that only comes from the last snowboard factory still operating on American soil.
At Twelve Board Store we've been selling Lib Tech for over 20 years. Our team has ridden these boards in Australia and overseas — if you need help choosing the right board for your riding style, call us on 03 9421 2293 or visit us at 435A Bridge Road, Richmond.
