Snowboard Laces

Which lacing system does your boot use?

Match the replacement to the system, because they are not interchangeable.

• Traditional laces are standard waxed boot laces. The waxed coating grips and holds tension far better than a dry lace. Measure your existing lace before ordering so the length matches.
• BOA uses a steel cable running through guides, tensioned by a dial.
• Speed lace uses a pull cord and a locking mechanism, and the cords are boot-specific rather than universal.

What if a BOA dial has failed?

Talk to us before you buy anything. Most BOA systems are covered by a lifetime guarantee through the manufacturer, so a failed dial is often a warranty replacement rather than a purchase. It is worth the phone call before you spend money.

Not sure what your boot uses?

Send us a photo of the boot, or bring it into the Richmond store, and we will identify it in a minute. Matching laces and cords by guesswork is how people end up buying the wrong part twice.
