Santa Cruz X Stranger Things Slimeballs 60mm/78a | GITD
Glow-in-the-dark 60mm cruisers from the Upside Down.
The Santa Cruz x Stranger Things Slime Balls are a 60mm, 78a cruiser wheel in glow-in-the-dark urethane, featuring the Meek Slasher Eddie artwork. They're poured on the Slime Balls OG Slime shape. A fun, soft wheel for cruisers, old-school boards and night rides.
OG Slime is a symmetrical, centre-bearing cruiser shape with soft, all-terrain urethane. The 78a hardness soaks up cracks, rough footpaths and pebbles for a smooth, quiet ride, and 60mm rolls fast and holds speed. The glow-in-the-dark urethane charges up in light and glows after dark.

About Santa Cruz Skateboards
Santa Cruz Skateboards made its first board in 1973 under NHS, the company founded by Richard Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman in Santa Cruz, California (NHS comes from their initials). It calls itself the oldest continuous skateboard company, and it marked 50 years in skateboarding in 2023.
The Screaming Hand, drawn by artist Jim Phillips in 1985, became one of the most recognised graphics in skating. Santa Cruz's wheel brand, Slime Balls, carries that heritage onto urethane, from hard street wheels to soft OG Slime cruisers and collaborations.
FAQs
What are Slime Balls Stranger Things OG Slime wheels best for?
Cruising. The soft 78a urethane and 60mm size roll smoothly over rough footpaths and cracks, so they suit cruisers, old-school shapes and filming boards. The glow-in-the-dark urethane makes them a fun night-ride wheel too.
What does 78a mean?
78a is a soft urethane on the A scale, the classic cruiser hardness. It grips well and soaks up cracks, pebbles and rough footpaths for a smooth, quiet ride, while still rolling fast. It's too soft for most technical street tricks and slides.
Will 60mm wheels fit my board / do I need risers?
On a cruiser or old-school board with wheel wells, usually no risers. On a standard popsicle deck, 60mm wheels normally need a 1/8" to 1/4" riser to avoid wheelbite, especially with loose trucks.
Do they come with bearings?
Slime Balls lists them as a 4-pack of wheels with glow-in-the-dark urethane and doesn't mention bearings, so plan on 8 standard 608 skate bearings (2 per wheel). If you're unsure, ask us and we'll check the pack for you.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
