Globe Blazer Fuego Flare Complete | 29"
The Blazer, rebuilt wider for real footpaths.
The Blazer Fuego is Globe's reworked Blazer: same easy-going cruiser spirit, but with a wider, fuller shape that gives you more deck under both feet. At 29.5" by 8.75" it's still compact enough to carry around, yet roomier and steadier than the classic Blazer. The Flare colourway brings a bold layered graphic. It's made for teens and adults who want a small, fun board for getting around the neighbourhood.
The deck is Resin-7 hard rock maple with a mellow concave and a kicktail, and its edges are contoured for extra wheel clearance. It rides on 5.0" Tensor ATG alloy trucks, which turn smoothly and reduce the need for big riser pads, and 61mm 78a Dozer cruiser wheels. The Dozer shape rolls over cracks and debris and feels nimbler than a conical cruiser wheel, so the Fuego is quick, playful and easy to steer.

About Globe
Globe is a Melbourne skate brand through and through. Brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill grew up skating in Melbourne, and in 1985 they started importing skateboards out of Fitzroy, a business that became Hardcore Enterprises. The Globe brand itself was born in 1994, starting with skate shoes. The company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2001, moved into its Port Melbourne headquarters, and launched its own line of skateboards, cruisers and longboards in 2010.
Today Globe is still led by the Hill family, with Matt Hill as CEO, and still based in Port Melbourne. It makes its decks and trucks in its own factory. Its cruisers and longboards are known for epoxy-pressed Resin-7 and Resin-8 maple decks, soft Globe cruiser wheels and bold, art-led graphics, all set up as ready-to-ride completes. From the pocket-sized Blazer to the 40" Geminon Rock, it's a range built for real streets and everyday riders.
FAQs
What is the Globe Blazer Fuego best for?
Short trips and fun cruising: to the shops, the beach, the station or around the block. The kicktail and short 15.5" wheelbase make it quick to turn and easy to pop up kerbs, and the soft Dozer wheels handle everyday footpaths.
Is a 29" cruiser the right size for me?
It suits most teens and adults who want something portable. At 8.75" wide it's roomier than a classic Blazer, so bigger feet fit comfortably. If you want more stability for longer rides, look at the 36" Blazer XL; for the smallest, lightest option, the 26" Blazer.
Is the Blazer Fuego good for beginners?
Yes. The mellow concave is comfortable, the wider deck gives you a stable stance, and the soft 78a wheels forgive rough ground. Its short wheelbase does make it twitchier than a longboard, so start on smooth, flat paths.
Cruiser vs skateboard: what's the difference?
A cruiser is built for rolling around, not tricks. It runs soft, bigger wheels like the Fuego's 61mm 78a Dozers that grip and smooth out rough ground, while a street skateboard uses small, hard wheels for skateparks and tricks. Cruisers also tend to have wider, shaped decks for a comfortable stance.
Can I commute on the Blazer Fuego?
Yes, for short commutes. The 61mm soft wheels handle cracks and coarse footpaths, and it's light enough to carry on a tram or into class. For long daily distances, a longboard with bigger wheels will roll further with less effort.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
