About Deca
Deca was founded in 1999 by Daewon Song after he left World Industries, with an early team that included Chris Haslam, JB Gillet and Marcus McBride. The brand put out two videos, Sneak Preview and 2nd to None, built around Daewon's creative, technical skating.
Today the Deca name lives on in a range of kids' completes: bright, fun boards sized for younger skaters, with proper skateboard components so kids can actually learn on them.
FAQs
Who is a 7.6" skateboard best for?
A 7.6" deck is a mid size. It suits older kids and young teens, and smaller adults or street skaters who want a lighter, quicker board for flip tricks. As a general guide, mids suit riders around 9 to 13. Teens and adults with bigger feet, or anyone wanting more stability, usually go 8.0" and up.
Is this a good skateboard for beginners?
Yes. It's a kids' complete made for learning, with soft bushings for easy turning and proper skateboard components. It's a big step up from toy-store boards, which use lower-quality parts that make learning harder.
What can I ride this skateboard for?
Learning to push, turn and balance, cruising around and first trips to the skatepark. It's sized so younger riders can control it properly from the start.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness to suit you and go skate.
