The Globe story

Globe was founded in Australia in 1994 by the Hill brothers (Peter, Stephen and Matt) and grew from a local distribution operation into one of the few genuinely global skate and lifestyle brands to come out of this country. That heritage matters to us: Globe is a homegrown brand that made it on the world stage, and it still designs with that independent, Australian spirit. The range spans skate shoes, apparel, completes and cruisers, backed by a real skate and surf team.

What is Globe known for?

Being a true full-range brand. Their skate shoes blend skate function with everyday wearability; their completes and cruisers (including the popular Blazer and Big Blazer) are quality ready-to-ride options; and their apparel carries the same considered, independent design. Many of their boards use Resin 7 hard rock maple construction for a lighter, stronger, more durable deck, paired with responsive Tensor trucks and soft cruiser wheels for smooth carving and reliable control. It is a great brand for skaters who want to support an Aussie label, and for anyone after a quality cruiser or skate shoe.
