The Chocolate story

Chocolate was launched in 1994 by Mike Carroll and Rick Howard as the sister brand to Girl, under the Crailtap roof. It built its own legendary team, riders like Chico Brenes, Gino Iannucci, Kenny Anderson and more, and its own visual identity, from the original chunk logo to the long-running artist series. Like Girl, it is skater-owned and quality-obsessed, and its videos sit among the most-watched in skate history.

What is Chocolate known for?

High-quality popsicle decks across team models and signature graphics, with the same reliable pop and construction as its Crailtap stablemate Girl. What size Chocolate deck should you get?

Deck width follows shoe size and skating style more than height. Around 8.0 to 8.25 inch is the versatile all-round range for street and park; wider (8.25 and up) suits transition, bowl and larger riders; narrower suits younger or smaller skaters doing technical street.
