Orangatang Dad Bod Wheels 105mm 77a
Monster 105mm roll for e-skate and long-distance pushing.
The Dad Bod is Orangatang's 105mm giant, built for riders who measure their sessions in kilometres. It rolls over cracks, rough roads and debris with ease and holds speed for ages. It's made for electric longboards, long-distance pushing and marathon pumping. This set is the 77a durometer.
It's poured in Happy Thane with rounded lips on Orangatang's TrypoCore, a high-strength, high-stiffness, heat-resistant urethane core, with an offset bearing seat. The 62mm width and 57mm contact patch give a stable, grippy footprint, and the sheer amount of urethane soaks up vibration for a smooth, quiet ride. At 428g a wheel, it's a serious piece of kit.

About Orangatang
Orangatang was hatched in Southern California in 2008 as the sister wheel brand of Loaded Boards. The two still share a building and most of the same crew in Culver City: Loaded builds the boards, and Orangatang makes what they roll on.
Orangatang is known for its Happy Thane urethane, a smooth, fast, high-traction formula, poured into shapes for every kind of longboarding, from compact freeride wheels to 105mm giants for distance pushing and e-skate. Every wheel is listed with real numbers for width, contact patch, lip shape and bearing seat, so you can choose exactly the ride you want.
FAQs
What are Orangatang Dad Bod wheels best for?
Electric longboards and long-distance pushing. The 105mm size rolls over rough roads and holds speed, which helps with range and comfort on e-skate. They're also great for marathon pumping and long commutes.
What does 77a mean?
77a is the softest Orangatang durometer. It gives the most grip and the smoothest, quietest roll over rough ground, but it slides less easily and wears a little faster. Great for lighter riders, rough roads and maximum hook-up.
Do I need risers for 105mm wheels?
Yes, on almost every board. Orangatang says riser pads are not optional at this size. Check clearance at full lean and full suspension travel before riding, and make sure your e-skate motor mount or pulleys suit a 105mm wheel.
Will Dad Bods fit my electric skateboard?
They take standard 608 bearings on an 8mm axle, but e-skate drive systems vary and Orangatang doesn't list specific compatibility. Belt-drive boards need a pulley that suits the wheel. Ask us with your board model and we'll check.
Do they come with bearings?
No, they're sold as wheels only. You'll need 8 standard 608 skate bearings for a set of 4, and on longboard wheels we recommend bearings with built-in spacers, or separate spacers, for a smoother, longer-lasting setup.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
