Excellent Anon Magna-tech feature and light level

I needed a new lens for my Anon M4 goggles and I already had a Perceive variable green and variable blue, so I went with the variable violet! I never really have any need for the cloudy or sunny spectrum of lenses.

Awesome service

Always happy dealing with the crew at Twelve, great service fast delivery

Pint-S thoughts

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

Flight Risk

Thanks for the gift card, not sure how to use it just yet!

Burton step on bindings

These were great to use. Forget about ratchets and spend more time going down hill rather than down on your bum tightening your bindings.

great

had it as a mid layer this weekend and was very satisfied with it. even as a standalone vest

Travel ready Split /Resort binding

Easily modifiable to fit Alpine Prime bindings along with a Quiver Connector means I have a premium split/resort Straightline binding ready to rip on my travels

The EVA footbed can be modified to fit Alpine Prime bindings so now my Straightline bindings can be used with a Quiver Connector to only take one set of bindings with my resort and splitboard overseas.

Epic glove with super comfort

Great quality product. Liners are amazing. Recommend using beeswax on leather palm to keep it waterproof. Holds up in wet weather

Apres and Work - Good Boots

Been running the MTE boots for years lift ops and maintenance, better than Sorrels now that they've got a zip side!

Quality base layer

These Burton base layer pants are the best! Super comfy and a good fit.

Nice sized day pack for short trips and staying light. Can't wait to get up in the mountains to use it.

K2 Entity Youth Helmet | Black

A tough kids' lid for the hill and the ride to school.

The K2 Entity is a youth hardshell helmet that's certified for both snow and bike riding. It's made for young rippers exploring the mountain, and it can head straight back out for the ride to school. This one comes in Black.

Lightweight EPS foam is bonded to a durable injection-moulded ABS shell built to survive the gear bag. The K2Dialed three-point fit adjusts with a twist of the dial so it grows with them through a size, passive channel vents move heat and moisture out, and the washable full wrap liner keeps it comfortable.

Key Features

  • Youth sizing: XS and S
  • Hardshell construction: ABS shell over EPS foam
  • K2Dialed fit: three-point dial adjust
  • Passive channel venting: removes heat and moisture
  • Full wrap liner: washable, breathable
  • Snow and bike certified: ASTM F2040, EN 1077, CPSC

Specs

  • Shell: Injection-moulded ABS hardshell
  • Liner: EPS foam
  • Certifications: ASTM F2040, EN 1077, CPSC (bike)
  • Fit system: K2Dialed
  • Padding: Full wrap liner, washable
  • Vents: Passive channel
  • Sizes: XS, S
  • Colourway: Black

Certifications

Certified for: Snowboarding, Skiing, Bike and e-bike riding

  • ASTM F2040: US snow sports helmet standard
  • EN 1077: European ski and snowboard helmet standard
  • CPSC 1203: US bicycle helmet standard, accepted in Australia for bike riding

K2 lists this model as Snow Certified (F2040 + EN1077) and Bike Certified (CPSC + EN), so one helmet covers the mountain and the bike path.

Size Guide

Wrap a soft tape around your child's head about 2cm above the eyebrows, over the widest point and just above the ears. If they're between sizes, the K2Dialed dial lets a larger size be snugged down, but the helmet must sit level and not rock when they shake their head. Don't buy too big to grow into.

Size Head circumference Inches
XS 48–51cm 18 7/8"–20 1/8"
S / Youth 51–55cm 20 1/2"–21 5/8"

The K2Dialed dial fine-tunes the fit within each size.

About K2

K2 started on Vashon Island, Washington, in the early 1960s, when Bill Kirschner began building fibreglass skis that were lighter and livelier than the wood and metal skis of the day. K2 jumped into snowboarding in the late 1980s and went on to launch the Clicker step-in binding in the 90s.

Today K2 builds snowboards, boots, bindings and helmets out of Seattle. Its helmets are known for the dial-adjust K2Dialed fit system, Active Matrix vents and, on selected models, dual certification for both snow and bike riding. Riders choose K2 for gear that's dialled, comfortable and made to last a whole season.

FAQs

Can I use the K2 Entity Youth for bike riding?
Yes. K2 certifies the K2 Entity Youth for snow (ASTM F2040 and EN 1077) and for cycling (US CPSC, which is accepted in Australia for bike helmets). So you can ride it on the mountain and on your bike or e-bike. Check the certification label inside the helmet if you're unsure.

What size K2 Entity Youth should I get?
Measure your child's head about 2cm above the eyebrows: XS fits 48–51cm and S/Youth fits 51–55cm. Pick the size their measurement falls in now, then use the dial to fine-tune it. It should sit level and not move when they shake their head.

When should I replace my helmet?
Replace it after any significant impact, even if you can't see damage. The EPS foam inside is designed to crush once to absorb a hit, so a helmet that has taken a big crash may not protect you the same way again. Also replace it if the shell is cracked, the foam is dented or the strap or buckle is damaged.

Is the Entity good for a kid who rides a bike too?
Yes. That's the point of it. K2 certifies the Entity for snow and for cycling (US CPSC), so one helmet can cover ski trips and riding to school. Take the time to re-adjust the dial and strap for the bike.
