Globe Blazer Cruiser Skateboard Crunch | 26"
The pocket-sized Blazer. Grab it, drop it, go.
The Globe Blazer is a 26" surf-inspired mini cruiser with a diamond tail, and one of the most compact boards Globe makes. It's small enough to carry in one hand or stash in a backpack strap, so it's ideal for short hops to the shops, the station or between classes. The Crunch graphic is from Globe's Blazer Scribble series, with neon and metallic inks on the bottom. It suits teens, smaller adults and anyone who values portability above all.
The deck is Resin-7 hard rock maple with a mellow side-to-side concave and a kicktail, plus wheel wells to help stop wheelbite. It rolls on 4.25" Tensor alloy trucks and soft 59mm 78a Globe Conical Cruiser wheels. With a short 13.75" wheelbase, it turns tight and quick, and the soft wheels keep it smooth over typical footpath cracks.

About Globe
Globe is a Melbourne skate brand through and through. Brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill grew up skating in Melbourne, and in 1985 they started importing skateboards out of Fitzroy, a business that became Hardcore Enterprises. The Globe brand itself was born in 1994, starting with skate shoes. The company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2001, moved into its Port Melbourne headquarters, and launched its own line of skateboards, cruisers and longboards in 2010.
Today Globe is still led by the Hill family, with Matt Hill as CEO, and still based in Port Melbourne. It makes its decks and trucks in its own factory. Its cruisers and longboards are known for epoxy-pressed Resin-7 and Resin-8 maple decks, soft Globe cruiser wheels and bold, art-led graphics, all set up as ready-to-ride completes. From the pocket-sized Blazer to the 40" Geminon Rock, it's a range built for real streets and everyday riders.
FAQs
What is the Globe Blazer best for?
Short, easy trips where portability matters most. At 26" it fits in a locker, under a desk or on a crowded tram, and the soft 59mm wheels make light work of short footpath runs. It's not built for long distances or tricks.
Is a 26" cruiser the right size for me?
It suits kids, teens and smaller adults best, and anyone who wants the most portable board possible. At 7.25" wide it's narrow, so riders with bigger feet or anyone wanting more stability should look at the 29" Blazer Fuego (8.75" wide) or the 30" Sun City.
Is the Blazer good for beginners?
It's fine for beginners who mainly want a portable board, and the soft wheels and mellow concave help. The short wheelbase makes it quick and a bit twitchy, though, so a wider board like the Blazer Fuego or Stubby will feel steadier while you learn.
Cruiser vs skateboard: what's the difference?
A cruiser like the Blazer is made for rolling around town: it has soft 78a wheels that grip and roll over rough ground, and a shaped deck with a kicktail. A regular skateboard has small, hard wheels and a symmetrical deck built for skateparks and tricks, which feel harsh on rough footpaths.
Can I commute on the Blazer?
For short commutes, yes. It's perfect for the last kilometre from the station or a quick run between classes. The 59mm wheels are soft, but they're smaller than a longboard's, so rough or long routes are better on a bigger board.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
