Arbor Bamboo Sizzler Cruiser Complete | 30.5"
A swallowtail thruster for surf-style street carving.
The Arbor Bamboo Sizzler is a 30.5" swallowtail cruiser for riders who like to carve hard. It slashes banks, snaps tight pocket turns and makes a run to the shops feel like a surf session. It suits teens and adults wanting a compact, lively board with a kicktail.
The deck is 7-ply sustainably sourced Canadian maple with a carbonised bamboo topsheet and low concave. Taller Paris Street 149mm trucks clear the 61mm Arbor Easyrider Bogart wheels, so you get soft, grippy roll and deep turns without wheel bite. Recycled glass Re-Grit griptape finishes it off.

About Arbor Collective
Arbor was founded in November 1995 by Bob Carlson and the late Chris Jensen, two friends living in Venice, California. They set out to build boards that respected the places they rode, launching with snowboards that used sustainably sourced wood topsheets and cores and less plastic. Arbor describes itself as the first traditional action sports brand founded to be mindful of the planet, and skateboards followed a few years later. Its Returning Roots program funds reforestation in Hawaii, where Koa wood was the brand's signature material for years.
Bob Carlson still runs Arbor today, and the brand has grown into a collective of riders, artists and makers. Its skate range is built from sustainably sourced Canadian maple, rolls on Arbor's own Easyrider wheels, and comes as Certified Completes, with every part chosen to suit each shape. Add a long-running artist series and you get boards that ride well, look great and are made with care.
FAQs
What is the Arbor Bamboo Sizzler best for?
Surf-style carving and fun cruising. The swallowtail shape and kicktail love tight pocket turns, bank slashes and quick direction changes, while the soft 61mm wheels keep the ride smooth on rough streets. It's a cruiser first, not a technical street or downhill board.
Is a 30.5" cruiser the right size for me?
For most teens and adults, yes. 30.5" with an 8.625" width is a sweet spot: roomy enough for a comfortable stance, compact enough to carry and turn tight. Smaller riders or anyone wanting a grab-and-go board can drop to around 27". If you want more stability for longer pushes, look at a 33" to 37" board.
Is the Sizzler good for beginners?
Yes. Soft wheels, a stable 17" wheelbase and smooth Paris trucks make it easy to learn on. The kicktail and lively shape also give you room to progress into sharper carves and kick turns as your confidence grows.
Cruiser vs skateboard: what's the difference?
A cruiser runs big, soft wheels and usually a shaped deck, so it rolls smoothly over cracks and rough ground and is made for getting around. A standard skateboard has small, hard wheels and a symmetrical popsicle deck built for tricks and skateparks. The Sizzler has a kicktail for quick turns, but its 61mm 78a wheels and swallowtail shape are all about carving and cruising.
Can I commute on the Sizzler?
Yes, for short trips around the neighbourhood, to the shops or across campus. The soft 61mm wheels handle rough footpaths well and it's light enough to carry. For long daily commutes, a longer board with bigger wheels will push more efficiently.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It's a Certified Arbor Complete, so it arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
