The Apollo Pro is the most powerful binding Jones makes: an ultra-stiff freeride binding for expert riders on technical terrain where edge control and response can't be compromised. Ryland Bell rides it.
A Flax/Carbon highback with an extended upper locks in toe-side turns, and the carbon-injected Hanger 3.0 SkateTech base sends every input straight to your edges. Jones rates it 10/10 for flex and 10/10 for freeride and powder.
Best for: expert freeriders who ride steep, technical lines and high-speed carves and want maximum power, response and support.
The Tech and What It Does for Your Day
✅ SkateTech: the baseplate pivots on a kingpin like a skateboard truck, so pressure on your straps and highback goes straight to the edge instead of bending a rigid base. More turn power, more board feel, less foot fatigue
✅ Carbon-injected Hanger 3.0: a wider bushing footprint closer to the edges for faster energy transfer, lighter weight and a lower inner wall for ankle mobility and high-volume boots
✅ Asym Flax/Carbon highback: flax and 3K carbon fibre with an extended upper wing and asymmetric shape that follows your leg, for maximum toe-side response
✅ Power Spine ankle strap: two-part moulded strap, wide at the bottom for comfort with a stiff centre spine for response. Flip-It compatible for Freeride or Surf mode
✅ Response Tri-Foam footbed: three densities of EVA, soft at heel and toe for comfort, mid-stiff in the centre for precision and stiff underneath for support
✅ ZyTech buckles: Zytel fibre composite levers with stainless steel springs and a triple-action ratchet
✅ Hinge Connectors and pre-curved ladders: the ankle strap stays out of the way when you step in and the ladder lines up first time

What size Jones Apollo Pro do I need?
M fits US men's 7.5 to 10 and L fits 10.5 and up (Mondo 25.5–28 cm and 28.5+ cm). Size off your snowboard boot, not your street shoe. Bring your boots to 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293 and we'll check the fit.
Will it fit my board?
Yes. Every Jones binding comes with a universal disc that mounts to 4x4, 2x4 and EST/Channel boards from any brand.
Is the Apollo Pro good for beginners?

HOW JONES RIDES
3D Contour Base
Jones bevels the base up at the nose and tail like a spoon, so the board lifts and pushes snow aside instead of ploughing through it. You get float in soft snow without leaning back. It's on boards like the Flagship and on every Jones splitboard.
Traction Tech
Raised bumps along each edge add extra grip points. On the Flagship there are three per edge, at the front binding, the centre and the back binding.
Splitboards built to tour
Every Jones splitboard runs 3D Contour Base, Traction Tech and the Bolt-less Bridge, with a notched tail that fits Jones Quick Tension Tail Clip skins.
FASE fast entry bindings
FASE adds semi automatic entry to a two strap binding. Step in, the highback closes, then buckle the ankle strap. It works with any snowboard boot, so no special boots are needed.

What size Jones board do I need?
Start with your weight and boot size, then think about where you ride. Our Jones size charts cover the range, and we're happy to size you up in store or over the phone.
What is 3D Contour Base?
It's the spoon shaped bevel Jones builds into the nose and tail. The edges lift away from the snow there, so the board floats and turns more easily in soft snow.
Do Jones FASE bindings need special boots?
No. Jones says FASE works with every snowboard boot and with standard board mounting patterns. If you're not sure about your board, ask us and we'll check before you buy.
Can I pick up in store or return it?
Yes, you can pick up from our Richmond showroom. For returns and exchanges, everything you need is in our returns policy.
