Nitro Drop Womens Snowboard | 2027
Forgiving, Grippy and Ready for Anything.
The Drop is Nitro's women's all-mountain board for creative riders who want to explore the whole resort and keep progressing. It's forgiving where it counts, holds an edge when the snow turns hard, and floats well enough to enjoy a powder morning.
Cam-Out Camber gives you camber's response with earlier, smoother transitions into the tip and tail, so contact points stay catch-free. The Dual Degressive sidecut uses Power Pods (a tighter radius underfoot, bigger toward the tips) for extra grip on icy days. A 6/10 flex, Powercore poplar core and Sintered EcoSpeed HD base keep it light, lively and quick.
Best for: women riders from first full season to confident all-mountain cruisers who want a forgiving board that still grips on firm snow.

FAQs
What size Drop should I ride?
Go by weight first: the 142 and 146 suit riders up to 60kg, the 149 suits 45 to 65kg and the 152 suits 50 to 70kg. Newer riders can size down for easier turning; faster riders can size up for stability.
Is the Drop good for beginners?
Yes. Nitro builds it for all levels. The 6/10 flex and Cam-Out Camber are forgiving, and the catch-free contact points make linking turns easier, while there's enough response to keep you progressing.
Drop or Alternator x Hailey?
The Drop is softer (6/10), more forgiving and cheaper, aimed at progressing all-mountain riders. The Alternator x Hailey is a stiffer 7/10 freeride board with Trüe Camber, carbon tape and a faster Speed Formula II base for advanced riders.
What bindings fit the Drop?
Any standard 4-hole binding (2x4 or 4x4 disc) fits, plus Burton Re:Flex discs. Burton EST bindings won't mount, as they need Burton's Channel. Set your stance width inside the range Nitro lists for your size in the chart above.
About Nitro
Nitro was founded in Seattle in 1990 by Tommy Delago and Sepp Ardelt, and it's still one of the original snowboarder-owned brands, privately held and answering to riders rather than investors. Freestyle has been in its blood from day one, and its team has stacked Olympic and X Games gold, with riders like Marcus Kleveland and Hailey Langland shaping the current range. Across the 2027 line, solar-powered production, FSC-certified wood cores, recycled raw materials and water-based inks are standard, not optional extras.

About Nitro Snowboards - 2027 Range
Nitro Snowboards have been building boards in Austria since 1990 — over 35 years of team-driven design, refined season after season by the pros who actually ride them. The 2027 Nitro range at Twelve Board Store covers every riding style, from the all-mountain domination of the Team and Team Pro, to the freeride-focused Alternator, the resort-carving Banker, women's performance boards including the Fate Pro and Zaza, and entry-level options for riders just getting started.
Every board in the range is built around Nitro's Trüe Camber platform — their signature camber profile delivering real pop, edge hold and response — paired with the PowerLite Core, Bi-Lite Laminates and Sintered Speed Formula II base. Recycled steel edges are standard across the 2027 lineup. Nitro boards are built to perform on Australian resort snow and built to last.
At Twelve Board Store we've stocked Nitro since day one. Call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us at 435A Bridge Road Richmond, or contact us online — our team has ridden the range and will point you to the right board.
