Globe Prowler Mid Longboard Complete | Sunstone — 34"
Globe Prowler Mid in Sunstone. 34.75" Resin-8 hard rock maple, rockered W-concave, 180mm Slant reverse kingpin trucks, 70mm 78a conical wheels. Built to dominate hills and eat up kilometres without apology.
The Prowler Mid is Globe's compact take on their flagship drop-through — a shortened, wider-tailed shape that keeps the stability of the full Prowler without the extra length. At 34.75" it sits in the sweet spot for riders who want a longboard that's equally at home carving long sweeping lines or navigating tighter urban terrain. The Sunstone colourway is clean, warm, and understated — a board that doesn't need to shout.
Globe's Resin-8 construction uses an epoxy resin press instead of water-based adhesive, producing a deck that's lighter, stiffer, and more durable than standard maple builds. The rockered concave with a slight W locks your feet in place without over-committing to any one riding style — you get the lower centre of gravity of a drop-through with enough concave feel to hold a line on a descent. The 180mm Slant reverse kingpin trucks are Globe's own, dialled for carving responsiveness, and the 70mm 78a conical wheels are soft enough to handle real-world surfaces without getting sketchy at speed.
Globe has been designing and manufacturing skateboards in Australia since 1994 — over 30 years of actual product development, not licensing deals or fashion-house side projects. They press their own boards, build their own trucks, and pour their own urethane. The Prowler line has been a staple of the Globe catalogue for years because it works, at every level, from the first push to the thousandth.
Why Ride the Globe Prowler Mid?
-
Shortened Prowler Shape
A compact 34.75" drop-through with a wider tail and less taper than the full Prowler; quicker to manoeuvre without sacrificing the stability that makes longboarding accessible. -
Resin-8 Hard Rock Maple Construction
Epoxy-pressed maple deck is lighter, stronger, and longer-lasting than standard water-based pressed boards; built to take sustained use without delaminating. -
Rockered Concave with Slight W
Lowers your centre of gravity and locks your feet in place; gives you confidence on descents and responsiveness through carves without being an aggressive freeride setup. -
180mm Slant Reverse Kingpin Trucks
Globe's own reverse kingpin trucks tuned for smooth, controlled carving turns; stable at speed and responsive enough for daily commuting. -
70mm 78a Conical Cruiser Wheels
High-rebound urethane rolls over cracks, gravel, and rough surfaces with ease; the 78a durometer keeps things planted without sliding out unpredictably. -
Globe ABEC-7 Bearings
Precision bearings standard across all Globe completes; spin fast, stay fast, and handle real-world conditions without constant maintenance. -
Die-Cut Griptape with Top Art
Branded die-cut grip applied to the top; functional coverage where you need it, with Sunstone graphics on the underside keeping the aesthetic on point. -
Drop-Through Truck Mount
Trucks mounted flush through the deck for a lower platform and improved weight distribution; makes pushing less effort and gives you a more stable base for longer rides.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a longboard and a cruiser skateboard?
A: A longboard is built for stability — longer distances, sweeping carves, and a planted ride. A cruiser is more compact and portable, with a kicktail for navigating urban terrain and tighter spaces. The choice comes down to how much board you want underfoot and where you're taking it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll sort it out.
Q: What size should I choose?
A: Shorter boards are easier to carry and more manoeuvrable. Longer boards are usually wider, offering more stability and a surf-style feel underfoot. Go shorter for portability, longer for a more flowing and planted ride. Give us a call on 03 9421 2293 and we'll point you in the right direction.
