Spitfire F4 Radial Full Wheels | 99D/54mm
Extra-wide Radial Fulls for stability on any terrain.
The Radial Full is Spitfire's super wide round-edge shape, here in 54mm and the classic 99D Formula Four. It suits skaters who want the most stable, planted wheel for its size, across park, transition and fast street.
The wide riding surface gives loads of grip and stability, and the round edges keep slides smooth and predictable. Formula Four resists flat spots and holds its shape, so the wheel stays round through hard slides and rough landings.

About Spitfire
Spitfire Wheels started in San Francisco in 1987 and is still based there today, distributed through Deluxe alongside some of the city's best-known skate brands. The flame logo has been on the bottom of street, park and bowl setups ever since.
Today Spitfire is best known for Formula Four, its performance urethane built to resist flat spots, hold its shape and slide smoothly without sticking. It comes in a wide spread of shapes and hardnesses, from soft 80HD cruisers to hard 101D park wheels, so you can match the wheel to how and where you skate. Riders choose Spitfire because the wheels are consistent from set to set and simply last.
FAQs
What are the Spitfire F4 Radial Full 99D 54mm wheels best for?
All-terrain skating where you want maximum stability: park, transition and fast street lines. The Radial Full is Spitfire's widest round-edge shape. The super wide riding surface gives loads of stability and grip, and the round edges keep slides smooth and predictable.
What does 99D mean?
Spitfire rates hardness on its own Duro scale, written D or DU, and doesn't publish a conversion. Retailers generally list it on the A scale, so 99D is usually listed as 99A, a hard street and park wheel. It rolls fast on smooth concrete, grips well enough to set up tricks and slides predictably. On rough footpaths you'll feel more of the cracks than on a softer wheel.
What size wheel should I get, and do I need risers?
54mm is the all-rounder size. It's big enough to hold speed in the park and roll over rougher ground, but still light for street. Most standard trucks run 54mm wheels without risers.
Do they come with bearings?
No. They come as a set of four wheels without bearings. Any standard 608 skate bearing fits, so you'll need a set of eight bearings, and spacers if your bearings don't have them built in.
