Powell Peralta SSF G-Slides Wheels Blue 4pk | 59mm / 82a
The softest G-Slide, for the smoothest roll on rough ground.
The blue 59mm G-Slide in 82a is the softest, widest take on Powell's all-terrain wheel. It's built for riders who want a regular deck to cruise like a soft-wheeled board: commuters, transition cruisers and anyone who skates rough local streets.
Poured in SSF Pro, the 82a urethane is soft and grippy, and the 44mm width adds stability. The extra diameter carries speed over cracks and keeps rolling between pushes, yet the wheel still breaks into a slide when you need to scrub speed.
Key Features
- SSF Pro urethane: Powell's soft slide formula in a grippier 82a
- 59mm diameter: more roll speed and carry than a 56mm
- 44mm width: stable and planted at speed
- 82a hardness: the softest, smoothest G-Slide
- Cored wheel: supportive core keeps the wheel true
- Low profile: still fits under most decks

About Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta was founded in 1978 by engineer George Powell and skater Stacy Peralta in Santa Barbara, California. Powell had already been baking his own urethane wheels and building his own boards since the mid 1970s, and in 1979 the pair formed the Bones Brigade, the team that included Ray "Bones" Rodriguez, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Tommy Guerrero and Mike Vallely.
Today Powell Peralta still puts a big focus on urethane research and its own wheel formulas. Dragon Formula covers street and park, while Soft Slide Formula (SSF) covers cruising, freeride and downhill. Riders pick Powell because the wheels last, roll fast and slide when you want them to, and because the brand has been part of skating for close to five decades.
FAQs
What are 82a G-Slides best for?
Cruising, commuting and carving on rough ground. The soft 82a urethane and 59mm size roll over cracks easily and grip in turns, while SSF lets them slide to control speed.
What does 82a mean?
82a is the hardness on the A scale, where lower is softer and grippier. 82a is soft enough to smooth out rough footpaths and grip in carves, and SSF urethane is made to slide when you want it to. Harder street wheels usually sit around 99a to 101a.
Will 59mm wheels fit my board or do I need risers?
On a popsicle deck with mid trucks, 59mm usually fits, but a 1/8" riser is a good idea for loose trucks or deep carving. On low trucks, use a 1/8" to 1/4" riser. Cruiser decks with wheel wells normally need nothing extra.
Do they come with bearings?
No. You get a set of 4 wheels with no bearings. Any standard 608 skateboard bearing fits, so you'll need a set of 8 (two per wheel), plus spacers if your bearings don't have them built in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
