Loaded Tesseract II Complete Longboard Spectra | 39.5"
Beyond terrain. Beyond limits.
The Tesseract II is Loaded's high-performance freestyle and technical freeride board: one board for tricks, slides and technical lines.
Six plies of long-grain maple with triaxial fibreglass give it explosive pop and torsional stiffness. A micro-drop platform with tub concave and a subtle W locks you in, symmetrical double kicks open up switch riding and tricks, and machined wheel wells keep the wheels clear. The Spectra colourway uses a photochromic graphic that reveals hidden detail in sunlight. On Paris V3 165mm trucks and Orangatang Fat Free 65mm wheels, it's built to progress.

Flex Guide
Flex is how much the deck bends under your weight, and it changes the whole feel of the ride. Loaded numbers its flexes from stiffest to softest: Flex 1 is the stiffest, and each higher number is softer.
- Stiffer (lower number): more stable and damped at speed, a planted platform for heavier riders, harder landings and faster riding.
- Softer (higher number): more spring and rebound, so pumping and carving feel livelier and more surf-like, especially at lower speeds. Best for lighter riders.
Pick by your weight first, then your style. If you sit where two flexes overlap, go stiffer for speed and stability, or softer for a bouncier, pumpier ride.
The Tesseract II comes in one flex. It's built stiff for maximum pop, control and precision in tricks and slides. It suits riders of all weights.
About Loaded Boards
Loaded Boards was founded in 2000 by Don Tashman, after years of building snowboard-inspired boards in New York, some of them cut from old snowboards. The first Loaded board, the Vanguard, launched in June 2002. Loaded moved its whole line to bamboo cores in 2006, released the original Dervish, one of the first flexible drop-through carving boards, in 2007, and started its sister wheel brand Orangatang in 2008.
More than two decades on, Loaded still designs out of Culver City, California, and is known for obsessive construction, sustainable materials like bamboo, basalt and bio-based resins, and boards developed with its riders for carving, dancing, freestyle and freeride. If you want a longboard that feels alive under your feet, Loaded is the benchmark.
FAQs
What is the Loaded Tesseract II best for?
Freestyle and technical freeride: ollies, manuals, shuvits, slides and creative street lines. It's for riders who want to push their progression.
Is a 39.5" longboard the right size for me?
For most teens and adults, yes. It's long enough for stability and slides, but the double kicks and stiff maple keep it nimble and poppy for tricks.
Is the Tesseract II good for beginners?
It's aimed at intermediate to advanced riders. Confident beginners who want to learn tricks and sliding can grow into it, but if you mainly want to cruise and carve, a flexy drop-through is easier.
Does the Tesseract II come in different flexes?
No, it comes in one flex. It's built stiff for maximum pop, control and precision in tricks and slides. It suits riders of all weights.
Can I commute on the Tesseract II?
You can on smooth surfaces, and the kicks are handy for curbs. The small 65mm wheels are built for tricks, so very rough footpaths are less comfortable than on a cruiser.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
