I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

Camber, Flying V and PurePop

Camber holds an edge with energy between your feet. Flying V puts rocker between the feet and camber underfoot, and PurePop adds flat sections to soften the pop. Pick the bend that suits how you ride.

Burton's flexible Re:Flex disc adds board feel and cushioning underfoot, and it fits 2x4, 4x4, 3D and The Channel boards. Channel and 3D boards need the matching hinge disc, so ask us and we'll sort it.

Speed Zone and BOA boots

Speed Zone and BOA boots

Speed Zone lacing uses two quick pull laces to tighten the upper and lower boot separately. BOA boots twist to tighten and pop to release. Either way, we'll fit them in store.

NO STRAPS, JUST STEP IN

Step On locks your boot to the binding at three points: two toe cleats and one heel cleat. Step in, hear it click and you're riding, then flip the lever on the heelcup to get out.

Step On boots only work with Step On bindings, so they're bought as a pair. The bindings use Re:Flex, so they mount on 2x4 and Channel boards, and on 3D boards with the right disc.

[ak] takes its name from Alaska, where its story starts. The first piece, the Tri-Lite [ak] Convertible Jacket, appeared in Burton's 1997 catalogue, and [ak] became its own collection in 2000, developed with riders like Craig Kelly and Dave Downing.

What size Burton board, boots or bindings do I need?
Start with your weight and boot size, then how you ride. Our Burton size guides cover boards, boots, bindings and outerwear. Easier still, come in or call and we'll size you up.
What's the difference between Camber, Flying V and PurePop?
Camber has an upward curve between the feet for edge hold and pop. Flying V puts rocker between the feet and camber underfoot for a looser, easier feel. PurePop adds flat sections that tone the pop down. Our camber guide goes deeper.
Will Burton bindings fit my board?
