Landyachtz Tugboat Cruiser Skateboard | Atmosphere — 30"
Landyachtz Tugboat in Atmosphere. 30" x 9.25" 7-ply Canadian maple, medium cave concave, 155mm Polar Bear trucks, 60mm 78a Lil EZ Hawgs wheels, Spaceball bearings. The Dinghy — made wider, roomier, and built for riders who want more board underfoot.
The Tugboat is Landyachtz's answer to every rider who loves the Dinghy but needs just a little more room to work with. At 30" x 9.25" with a 14.8" wheelbase, it's wider and slightly longer than the Classic Dinghy — a platform that feels genuinely spacious underfoot without crossing into longboard territory. The full-sized tail and short functional nose give you all the kicktail response you'd want for popping up kerbs, navigating obstacles, and keeping the session alive, while the wide deck keeps things stable and comfortable throughout. The Atmosphere colourway features artwork by illustrator Oleksiy Khmelov — bold, atmospheric graphics that look as good on a wall as they do under a foot.
The 7-ply Canadian maple deck is sourced from the finest Eastern Canadian veneers and pressed stiff for maximum pop and responsiveness. Medium cave concave keeps your feet locked in through carves without being aggressive over longer sessions, and sanded wheel wells expand wheel size compatibility beyond the standard setup. The 155mm Polar Bear trucks are Landyachtz's traditional kingpin truck — wider than the Dinghy's 105mm Polars, providing the extra stability and leverage that this wider platform deserves, with 93a bushings for predictable, controlled turning. The 60mm 78a Lil EZ Hawgs are the compact version of the EZ Hawgs line — smooth rolling, buttery sliding, and sized specifically to avoid wheelbite on shorter boards without sacrificing the soft urethane feel that makes this setup handle rough pavement with ease.
Landyachtz has been skater-owned and operated out of Vancouver, Canada since 1997. They design their own trucks, pour their own urethane through the Hawgs brand, source only the finest Eastern Canadian maple veneers, and plant a tree for every board sold through their One Board One Tree programme. The Tugboat is one of their most popular boards precisely because it solves a real problem — more platform, same portability, zero compromise.
Why Ride the Landyachtz Tugboat Atmosphere?
-
Wide 9.25" Platform
More room underfoot than the Dinghy without adding excessive length; ideal for riders with larger feet, wider stances, or anyone who wants a more planted and comfortable cruiser experience. -
7-Ply Canadian Maple Construction — Stiff Flex
Sourced from the finest Eastern Canadian maple veneers; stiff, light, and poppy — built to handle daily use across real terrain without losing feel or shape over time. -
Full-Sized Tail with Short Functional Nose
Keeps the board compact while giving you a proper kicktail for popping up kerbs, navigating obstacles, and getting creative when the terrain calls for it. -
155mm Polar Bear Trucks — 93a Bushings
Wider traditional kingpin trucks matched to the 9.25" deck width; provide precise turning and stability at speed — a more controlled, confidence-inspiring turn than the RKP setups on some cruiser builds. -
60mm 78a Lil EZ Hawgs Wheels
The compact sibling to the 63mm EZ Hawgs — same smooth rolling, buttery sliding 78a EZ formula in a smaller diameter specifically sized to eliminate wheelbite on shorter boards without sacrificing grip or roll. -
Medium Cave Concave
Enough concave to keep your feet locked in through carves and tight turns, without being aggressive enough to cause discomfort on longer sessions or make the board difficult for new riders. -
Spaceball Bearings
Built-in washers and spacers mean you can never lose them; bearings are always correctly mated, eliminating bearing-induced chatter and keeping the roll smooth and consistent from the first push. -
Oleksiy Khmelov Artwork
Bold, atmospheric graphics by illustrator Oleksiy Khmelov — a genuine artist collaboration that gives this colourway a visual identity that stands apart from anything else in the Tugboat range. -
One Board One Tree
Landyachtz plants a tree for every board sold — a skater-owned brand with a genuine environmental commitment behind every product they ship.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a longboard and a cruiser skateboard?
A: A longboard is built for stability — longer distances, sweeping carves, and a planted ride. A cruiser is more compact and portable, with a kicktail for navigating urban terrain and tighter spaces. The choice comes down to how much board you want underfoot and where you're taking it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll sort it out.
Q: What size should I choose?
A: Shorter boards are easier to carry and more manoeuvrable. Longer boards are usually wider, offering more stability and a surf-style feel underfoot. Go shorter for portability, longer for a more flowing and planted ride. Give us a call on 03 9421 2293 and we'll point you in the right direction.
