YES Drive Snowboard | 2027
Precision Meets Power
The YES Drive 2027 is a modern all-mountain weapon built with a freestyle soul. New to the YES 2027 lineup, the Drive blends traditional camber authority with progressive shaping to create a board that charges hard when you want it to — but still feels alive, playful, and expressive underfoot. This is the kind of board that thrives carving morning corduroy, sending side hits mid-day, and opening it up when the terrain demands commitment.
Built around a powerful High Camber profile, the Drive delivers explosive pop, dynamic edge hold, and precision control at speed. Unlike hybrid CamRock boards, High Camber is full contact tip to tail when unweighted — the board arches cleanly underfoot and loads energy through the entire running surface, releasing it in snappy, powerful rebound through every turn. The Directional Twin shape keeps it freestyle-capable while maintaining all-mountain stability, and the Multi Radius Sidecut blends different sidecut radii through the turn for smooth initiation and consistent edge hold across varied terrain. The Mid-Wide waist width improves float in softer snow while reducing toe and heel drag on aggressive carves.
The Torrent Core uses 20% Poplar and 80% Paulownia — lighter than a standard 50/50 blend, delivering responsive, lively flex with strong energy transfer underfoot. Triax fibreglass provides three-direction torsional stiffness for edge hold and stability at speed. Freestyle L Fiber Reinforcement places carbon stringers in an L-shape from the insert pack to the tip, enhancing nose stiffness, torsional response, and stability on take-off and landing. Forever Flex manufacturing stabilises the flex and rocker profile for the board's lifetime.

High Camber Performance
High Camber is the most direct, responsive camber profile YES makes — the board is fully loaded along its entire running surface when you're on edge, maximising contact length and energy storage through every turn. The result is explosive pop on take-off, powerful spring out of carves, and precise, locked-in control at speed. It demands more from the rider than a hybrid CamRock profile, but rewards that engagement with a level of edge grip and rebound that progressive all-mountain riders will feel immediately.

Sizing Tip
The YES Drive rides true to size. Choose your regular length for balanced all-mountain versatility, or size up slightly if you prioritise speed and stability in open terrain. The High Camber profile and Mid-Wide waist make this board feel longer and more planted than comparable boards at the same length.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Drive compare to the YES Standard?
Both are directional twins in the all-mountain / freestyle range, but they ride very differently. The Standard uses CamRock 3-4-3 — a hybrid camber/rocker profile that's more forgiving, slightly softer in feel (6/10), and more powder-ready thanks to rocker in the tip and tail plus SlamBack inserts. The Drive uses full High Camber — no rocker, all contact — which delivers more explosive pop, sharper edge hold, and greater stability at speed at the cost of some forgiveness (7/10). The Standard is the better choice for versatility across Australian resort conditions including the odd powder day; the Drive is the better choice for riders who prioritise carving authority, maximum response, and all-mountain performance at speed. If you want to push harder on edge and feel more pop off every turn, the Drive is the step up.
Is the Drive good for the park as well as all-mountain riding?
Yes — it's a Directional Twin shape, which means it's switch-capable and balanced enough for park use. The 7/10 flex and High Camber deliver strong pop off kickers and reliable edge hold on landings, and the Freestyle L carbon reinforcement stiffens the nose for cleaner take-offs and absorbs the impact on landing. It's not a dedicated park twin — the Greats UnInc would be the better call if park and freestyle is your primary focus — but the Drive can absolutely handle park laps and still charge the whole mountain the rest of the day.
What bindings work well with the YES Drive?
The Drive's 7/10 flex and High Camber profile respond well to a medium-to-stiff binding that can match its precision and energy. From our range we'd suggest the YES. Select, Union Atlas, Nitro Team, or Burton Cartel — all strong pairings for a board at this flex and performance level. The YES. Select is the natural brand match and pairs well with the Drive's all-mountain character; the Union Atlas and Burton Cartel add precise response for aggressive carving.
