Globe Bruiser Wheel Clear Honey | 58mm/83a
An all-terrain 58mm cruiser wheel with a street shape.
The Globe Bruiser is a friendly all-terrain cruiser wheel with a street-performance shape, here in 58mm, 83a Clear Honey. It's a little wider than a traditional street wheel, so it gives a smooth, stable ride. It suits cruisers, street boards set up for rough ground and skaters who want to do a bit of everything.
The face cuts back toward the core to save weight and sharpen response, and the 26mm riding surface keeps it nimble. 83a urethane is soft enough to smooth out cracks and rough footpaths, but firm enough to stay lively for tricks and carving.

About Globe
Globe is a Melbourne skate brand through and through. Brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill grew up skating in Melbourne, and in 1985 they started importing skateboards out of Fitzroy, a business that became Hardcore Enterprises. The Globe brand itself was born in 1994, starting with skate shoes. The company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2001, moved into its Port Melbourne headquarters, and launched its own line of skateboards, cruisers and longboards in 2010.
Today Globe is still led by the Hill family, with Matt Hill as CEO, and still based in Port Melbourne. Its cruisers and longboards are known for epoxy-pressed maple decks, soft Globe cruiser wheels and bold, art-led graphics. The same cruiser wheels that come on Globe completes are sold separately, so you can freshen up or soften up any setup.
FAQs
What are Globe Bruiser wheels best for?
All-terrain cruising with a bit of street skating. The 83a urethane rides smooth on rough ground, and the street-style shape and cut-back face keep it responsive for tricks and carving.
What does 83a mean?
83a is a medium-soft cruiser hardness on the A scale. It's smooth over cracks and rough footpaths but a little firmer and livelier than a 78a wheel, so it still feels responsive for carving and the odd trick.
Will 58mm wheels fit my board / do I need risers?
On cruisers and boards with wheel wells, usually no. On a standard popsicle deck, a 1/8" riser is a good idea at 58mm, especially with loose trucks, to stop wheelbite.
Do they come with bearings?
No, they're sold as a set of 4 wheels without bearings. You'll need 8 standard 608 skate bearings (2 per wheel), which fit every standard skateboard wheel.
