Globe Goodstock Knee Pads | Black
Park-ready hard cap knee pads with an easy, open-back fit.
The Goodstock Knee Pads are Globe's park-oriented performance pads, made for skatepark sessions, bowls and mini ramps. They're easy to get on, fit well and come in matte black to match the Goodstock completes.
A hard cap sits over the knee, with a rip-stop, heavy-duty nylon outer that resists tears and battle scars. Inside, a CoolMax liner is breathable, moisture-wicking and anti-bacterial. A neoprene and Velcro double-enclosure wraps around and stays put, and the open-back, ventilated neoprene butterfly straps let you get them on and off without taking your shoes off.

Size Guide
Globe sizes these pads on two leg measurements. Measure around your leg just above the knee (A) and just below the knee (B), and choose the size that fits both. If you're between sizes, try them on with the straps done up: they should be snug without cutting in.
| Size | Above knee (A) | Below knee (B) |
|---|---|---|
| S | 38–42cm | 33–37cm |
| M | 41–46cm | 35–40cm |
| L | from 45cm | 38–44cm |
| XL | 47–54cm | 42–48cm |
The published chart misprints the upper limit for L above the knee, so go by the below-knee measurement for L, or come in and try them on. A knee pad that twists when you kneel is too big.
About Globe
Globe comes out of Globe International, founded in Melbourne in 1985 by brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill. It started as a distribution business called Hardcore and grew into one of the biggest names in skate footwear and hardware worldwide, still headquartered in Port Melbourne.
The Globe skate team has included some of the most influential skaters ever, from Rodney Mullen and Mark Appleyard to Chris Haslam, Austyn Gillette and Australia's own Jake Duncombe and Dion Agius. Globe is known for skate shoes, cruisers and completes, and its Goodstock range is the no-fuss, ready-to-skate end of the line.
FAQs
What size Globe Goodstock Knee Pads should I get?
Measure around your leg just above and just below the knee and match both to Globe's chart, from S (38–42cm above, 33–37cm below) to XL (47–54cm above, 42–48cm below). Sizes overlap, so if you're on the line, go with the size that feels snug with the straps done up.
Hard cap or soft pad: which do I need?
A hard cap like the Goodstock is the pick for skateparks, ramps and bowls, because you can knee slide out of a fall. Soft pads suit cruising and street, where you want less bulk under pants.
Do I need to take my shoes off to put them on?
No. The open-back design and neoprene butterfly straps wrap around the leg, so they go on and off with your shoes on.
How do I care for the Goodstock Knee Pads?
Air them out after every session so the CoolMax liner can dry, and keep them out of a hot car. Globe doesn't publish washing instructions, so a gentle hand wash with mild soap is the safe bet. Check the cap and straps after big slams and replace the pads if the cap cracks or the foam flattens.

Let customers speak for us
Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
