Pint-S thoughts

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

Thanks for the gift card, not sure how to use it just yet!

Fits perfect on my Fatboy Scrambler, comes with mounting screws. Very happy

Burton step on bindings

These were great to use. Forget about ratchets and spend more time going down hill rather than down on your bum tightening your bindings.

Travel ready Split /Resort binding

Easily modifiable to fit Alpine Prime bindings along with a Quiver Connector means I have a premium split/resort Straightline binding ready to rip on my travels

The EVA footbed can be modified to fit Alpine Prime bindings so now my Straightline bindings can be used with a Quiver Connector to only take one set of bindings with my resort and splitboard overseas.

Epic glove with super comfort

Great quality product. Liners are amazing. Recommend using beeswax on leather palm to keep it waterproof. Holds up in wet weather

Apres and Work - Good Boots

Been running the MTE boots for years lift ops and maintenance, better than Sorrels now that they've got a zip side!

Quality base layer

These Burton base layer pants are the best! Super comfy and a good fit.

Nice sized day pack for short trips and staying light. Can't wait to get up in the mountains to use it.

Arbor Bamboo Sizzler Cruiser Complete | 30.5"

A swallowtail thruster for surf-style street carving.

The Arbor Bamboo Sizzler is a 30.5" swallowtail cruiser for riders who like to carve hard. It slashes banks, snaps tight pocket turns and makes a run to the shops feel like a surf session. It suits teens and adults wanting a compact, lively board with a kicktail.

The deck is 7-ply sustainably sourced Canadian maple with a carbonised bamboo topsheet and low concave. Taller Paris Street 149mm trucks clear the 61mm Arbor Easyrider Bogart wheels, so you get soft, grippy roll and deep turns without wheel bite. Recycled glass Re-Grit griptape finishes it off.

Key Features

  • Swallowtail thruster shape: surf-inspired outline for tight, snappy carves
  • Kicktail: quick direction changes, kerb hops and bank slashes
  • Carbonised bamboo topsheet over 7-ply maple: lively feel with a natural dark finish

  • Fully assembled and gripped: ready to ride out of the box

About Arbor Collective

Arbor was founded in November 1995 by Bob Carlson and the late Chris Jensen, two friends living in Venice, California. They set out to build boards that respected the places they rode, launching with snowboards that used sustainably sourced wood topsheets and cores and less plastic. Arbor describes itself as the first traditional action sports brand founded to be mindful of the planet, and skateboards followed a few years later. Its Returning Roots program funds reforestation in Hawaii, where Koa wood was the brand's signature material for years.

Bob Carlson still runs Arbor today, and the brand has grown into a collective of riders, artists and makers. Its skate range is built from sustainably sourced Canadian maple, rolls on Arbor's own Easyrider wheels, and comes as Certified Completes, with every part chosen to suit each shape. Add a long-running artist series and you get boards that ride well, look great and are made with care.

FAQs

What is the Arbor Bamboo Sizzler best for?
Surf-style carving and fun cruising. The swallowtail shape and kicktail love tight pocket turns, bank slashes and quick direction changes, while the soft 61mm wheels keep the ride smooth on rough streets. It's a cruiser first, not a technical street or downhill board.

Is a 30.5" cruiser the right size for me?
For most teens and adults, yes. 30.5" with an 8.625" width is a sweet spot: roomy enough for a comfortable stance, compact enough to carry and turn tight. Smaller riders or anyone wanting a grab-and-go board can drop to around 27". If you want more stability for longer pushes, look at a 33" to 37" board.

Is the Sizzler good for beginners?
Yes. Soft wheels, a stable 17" wheelbase and smooth Paris trucks make it easy to learn on. The kicktail and lively shape also give you room to progress into sharper carves and kick turns as your confidence grows.

Cruiser vs skateboard: what's the difference?
A cruiser runs big, soft wheels and usually a shaped deck, so it rolls smoothly over cracks and rough ground and is made for getting around. A standard skateboard has small, hard wheels and a symmetrical popsicle deck built for tricks and skateparks. The Sizzler has a kicktail for quick turns, but its 61mm 78a wheels and swallowtail shape are all about carving and cruising.

Can I commute on the Sizzler?
Yes, for short trips around the neighbourhood, to the shops or across campus. The soft 61mm wheels handle rough footpaths well and it's light enough to carry. For long daily commutes, a longer board with bigger wheels will push more efficiently.

Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It's a Certified Arbor Complete, so it arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.

Made with nature in mind. Arbor since 1995.

About Arbor Skateboards
Shortly after launching Arbor, the team at Arbor started repurposing old snowboards into big wheelbase skates that were ideal for bombing hills when there was no snow. This led to the introduction of the Arbor skateboard line, and an extension of the sustainability efforts and discussion about its importance to action sports. With the skate line, Arbor pioneered bio-urethane and expanded our use of recycled materials and responsibly sourced wood and bamboo. Arbor's mission is to build premium lifestyle skateboards, with the smallest possible environmental footprint.
Iconic Wood Grain & Sustainability
Nothing says Arbor Skateboards like the iconic wood grain topsheets - but there's more to the story they just that. Arbor was founded in 1995 to focus on the environment in the construction of the most mindfully crafted skateboards possible. For 25 years, they have used sustainable forest products to achieve this objective. Along the way, they have select the most responsible processes and components possible. Since day one, they have used proceeds from the sale of our line to fund the preservation of indigenous forests - giving back much more than they responsibly take out.
