The Full Cut Snow takes Pro-Tec's original full-coverage skate and BMX shape and re-engineers it for the mountain. This one's in Matte Black. It's for snowboarders and skiers who want that retro look with more coverage over the ears. This one is sold without its original box.

A high-impact ABS shell covers an EPS liner, with a full-coverage terry and mesh liner and plush faux fur ear pads for warmth. Eleven mesh-covered vents keep air moving, a rear goggle clip holds your strap and a comfort chinstrap cover stops rubbing. It's shell-sized, so pick the right size from the chart.

Size Guide

Wrap a soft tape around your head about 2cm above the eyebrows, over the widest point at the back. Pro-Tec recommends sizing up if you measure at the top end of a size range (for example, 54cm goes to the bigger size), and says riders usually find the larger size more comfortable. Measure without a beanie.

Shell-sized with no dial. Should feel snug all round, sit level and not rock when you shake your head.

What size Pro-Tec Full Cut Snow should I get?
Measure around your head about 2cm above the eyebrows and match it to the chart: XS 52–54cm up to XL 60–62cm. At the top of a range, Pro-Tec recommends going up a size. With no dial, the shell size does the work, so come in and try one on if you can.

When should I replace my helmet?
Replace it after any significant crash or hard hit, even if you can't see damage. The EPS liner crushes to absorb a big impact and doesn't bounce back, so it won't protect the same way twice. Will the Full Cut Snow keep my ears warm?
Yes. The Full Cut shape wraps lower over the ears than the Classic, and the ear pads are plush faux fur. The 11 mesh-covered vents let heat out on warmer spring days.
