The Dakine 50L Boot Pack, here in Black Coated for 2026, is a simple, rugged boot bag that carries your snowboard or ski boots with the rest of your day kit. Dedicated compartments keep wet boots away from your helmet, goggles and layers, so everything gets to the mountain dry and in one place.
The boot compartment is accessed from the back panel and tarp lined, so it's easy to wipe out after a wet day. A large padded pocket protects your helmet and goggles from dings and scratches, and the zippered front cargo pocket handles gloves, a spare base layer, lenses and tuning tools. Padded, adjustable shoulder straps make it easy to carry from the car park or through the airport.

About Dakine
Dakine started on Maui's North Shore in 1979, when surfer Rob Kaplan began making surf leashes in Haiku. In 1986 the brand moved to Hood River, Oregon, at the foot of Mt Hood, and the snow side took off from there. Dakine is also the crew behind the original Heli Pack, launched in 1996 as a low-volume pack for backcountry riders and skiers.
Today Dakine is known for packs that are built by riders and tested hard on the hill. Its team signature packs carry the names of riders like Jamie Anderson, Red Gerard and Sammy Carlson, and the range runs from everyday school and work packs to dedicated backcountry touring packs. Will it fit my snowboard boots and helmet?
Yes. The 50L Boot Pack is built for one pair of snowboard or ski boots in the tarp-lined compartment, with a separate padded pocket for your helmet and goggles. Very large boot sizes can be a tight fit, so bring your boots in store if you're unsure.
Does it keep wet boots away from my gear?
Yes. The boot compartment is separate and tarp lined, so melt and slush stay away from your helmet, goggles and layers.
Is it carry-on size?
Dakine doesn't list it as carry-on luggage. Check your airline's size and weight limits before you fly.
How do I clean it?
Empty it and wipe out the tarp-lined boot compartment with a damp cloth. Spot clean the outside with mild soap and cold water, then air dry fully, open, before storing. Don't machine wash.
