Men's snowboard bindings are about more than just strapping your boot to the board. The right binding transfers your power, dampens the chatter you don't want, and gives you exactly the amount of response your riding style needs. The wrong pair and you're fighting the gear all day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Match the binding to your boot size, never to your height or your board length. It is the most common mistake made ordering online. If you are unsure, call us or come into Richmond and we will check it before you order.
Roughly, yes, and it matters more than either one on its own. A soft binding on a stiff board wastes what the board can do because your input is absorbed before it reaches the edge. A stiff binding on a soft park board makes the setup feel harsh.
NOW is no longer sold as its own brand and the design now lives under YES. Models riders knew from NOW, including the IPO, carry over. If you rode NOW and want the same feel, the YES range is where to look.
Most bindings work with all major mounting systems, but check against your board's insert pattern first, especially if you ride a Burton with the Channel. We will confirm compatibility if you are not sure.
Not automatically. Flex follows how you ride rather than how long you have been riding. A confident park rider may want something softer than a cautious all-mountain rider. Stiff bindings suit hard charging and immediate edge response.
