Venture Hi Trucks Polished 6.1 | Set
The essential Venture street truck.
The Venture Hi Polished is the essential Venture street truck, instantly recognisable on ledges and rails. The 6.1 has a 8.75" axle for decks 8.62" and up, and it's made for street skaters who want a durable, consistent truck.
It uses Venture's Hi geometry at 53.5mm tall, with an aluminium hanger and baseplate and high-grade steel axle and kingpin. Venture's turn feels a little tighter and more stable than some trucks, which a lot of ledge and rail skaters like, and it grinds smooth and wears in well. Made in the USA.

- 53.5mm Hi height: room for common street and park wheels

What Size Board Does It Fit?
Match the truck's axle width to your deck width, ideally within about 1/4" either side. Too narrow feels twitchy and unstable; too wide and the wheels stick out past the deck and catch your feet. Here is the Venture Hi size chart.
| Truck size | Axle width | Best board width |
|---|---|---|
| 5.0 | 7.62" | up to 7.9" |
| 5.2 | 8.0" | 7.9"–8.1" |
| 5.6 | 8.25" | 8.1"–8.3" |
| 5.8 | 8.5" | 8.4"–8.6" |
| 6.1 | 8.75" | 8.62" and up |
Venture sizes are hanger widths in inches: a Venture 5.2 has an 8.0" axle, like an Indy 139.
About Venture
Venture is a long-running American street truck brand, and Venture trucks are made in the USA. Since 2011 the brand has been distributed by San Francisco's Deluxe, alongside Thunder and Spitfire.
Venture has always been a street skater's truck. It is known for a durable, consistent build that grinds well and rides the same way session after session, with a slightly tighter, more stable feel that a lot of ledge and handrail skaters like. If you want a no-fuss truck that just works, Venture is a solid call.
FAQs
What size board do the Venture 6.1 Hi trucks fit?
Decks 8.62" and up. The Venture 6.1 has a 8.75" axle; the number is the hanger width in inches, not the axle, so check the chart above before you buy.
Venture Hi vs Low: which should I get?
Hi trucks give more wheel clearance and a bit more turn, so they suit most street and park skating and wheels in the low to mid 50s. Low trucks sit closer to the ground for flip tricks and small wheels. If you're unsure, Hi is the safer all-round choice.
Do I need risers with Venture Hi trucks?
Generally not for street setups. At 53.5mm tall, wheels up to about 54mm usually run fine without risers. For bigger or softer wheels, or loose trucks, add a 1/8" riser to stop wheelbite.
Do the Venture 6.1 Hi trucks come as a pair?
Yes. You get two trucks, enough to set up one skateboard, with kingpin nuts, axle nuts and bushings fitted. Mounting hardware (bolts) is not included, so grab a set of 7/8" or 1" bolts if you don't have them.
How tight should I set my Ventures?
Start with the kingpin nut just snug enough that the bushings sit firmly in the cups, then adjust a quarter turn at a time. Looser turns sharper but can wobble at speed; tighter feels more stable and gives you more pop off the tail. Never back the nut off so far that it isn't fully on the kingpin thread.
