Powell Peralta Sym Dragon Wheels Mike Vallely | 56mm/95a
Mike Vallely's pro Dragon in the versatile V6 shape.
This is Mike Vallely's pro wheel in 56mm and 95a Dragon Formula. Vallely rode for the Bones Brigade, and this wheel suits street skaters who want one dependable set for rough streets, parks and everything in between.
It uses Powell's V6 shape: symmetrical double radial with a sidecut, a medium ride patch and a centreset bearing, 36mm wide. Powell says 95A Dragons open up more skateable surfaces without losing the precision you need for technical tricks.

About Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta was founded in 1978 by engineer George Powell and skater Stacy Peralta in Santa Barbara, California. Powell had already been baking his own urethane wheels and building his own boards since the mid 1970s, and in 1979 the pair formed the Bones Brigade, the team that included Ray "Bones" Rodriguez, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Tommy Guerrero and Mike Vallely.
Today Powell Peralta still puts a big focus on urethane research and its own wheel formulas. Dragon Formula covers street and park, while Soft Slide Formula (SSF) covers cruising, freeride and downhill. Riders pick Powell because the wheels last, roll fast and slide when you want them to, and because the brand has been part of skating for close to five decades.
FAQs
What are Mike Vallely Dragon wheels best for?
Street and park skating on any surface. The 95a Dragon urethane is smoother than a hard wheel on rough ground, and the V6 shape is precise enough for technical street tricks.
What does 95A mean?
95A is the hardness on the A scale, sitting in the middle of the Dragon range. It's firmer than 88a or 93a, and smoother than a 99A street wheel.
Will 56mm wheels fit my board or do I need risers?
56mm fits most popsicle decks on mid or high trucks without risers. On low trucks, add a 1/8" riser to avoid wheel bite.
Do they come with bearings?
No. You get a set of 4 wheels with no bearings. Any standard 608 skateboard bearing fits, so you'll need a set of 8 (two per wheel), plus spacers if your bearings don't have them built in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
