Landyachtz Raft Trout Cruiser Skateboard | 32.5"
Landyachtz Raft in Trout. 32.5" x 9.9" 7-ply Canadian maple, medium cave concave, full-size nose and tail, 130mm Polar Bear trucks, 63mm 78a Fatty Hawgs wheels, Spaceball bearings. A mega carver disguised as an old-school street skate.
The Raft is Landyachtz's widest cruiser — a 9.9" platform with a subtle taper and tub concave that gives you serious foot space and a planted, confidence-inspiring stance without crossing into longboard territory. Inspired by the surfy, functional boards of the early 90s, the Raft has become one of Landyachtz's most popular cruiser shapes because it bridges two worlds — it looks and feels like a traditional street skateboard, rides like a carver, and handles everything from skatepark runs to neighbourhood pushes with equal confidence. The Trout colourway features artwork by Tim Johnson — detailed, striking illustration work that makes this board as much a visual statement as a functional one.
At 32.5" x 9.9" with a 15" wheelbase, the Raft is the widest, most spacious platform in the Landyachtz cruiser lineup. The 7-ply Canadian maple is sourced from the finest Eastern Canadian veneers, pressed stiff for maximum pop and responsiveness. Medium cave concave keeps your feet locked in through carves without being aggressive over longer sessions, and the full-size nose and tail give you a genuinely functional street skate shape — enough kicktail to pop ollies, hit obstacles, and navigate urban terrain the way a proper skateboard should. Half-inch risers are included for phenomenal wheel clearance. The 130mm Polar Bear traditional kingpin trucks deliver precise turning and stability matched to the 9.9" width, and the 63mm 78a Fatty Hawgs are the benchmark Landyachtz cruiser wheel — fast, smooth, and soft enough to handle whatever the street throws at them.
Landyachtz has been skater-owned and operated out of Vancouver, Canada since 1997. They design their own trucks, pour their own urethane through the Hawgs brand, source only the finest Eastern Canadian maple veneers, and plant a tree for every board sold through their One Board One Tree programme. The Raft is the right board for riders who want maximum foot space, traditional skate feel, and a carver that doesn't announce itself as one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a longboard and a cruiser skateboard?
A: A longboard is built for stability — longer distances, sweeping carves, and a planted ride. A cruiser is more compact and portable, with a kicktail for navigating urban terrain and tighter spaces. The choice comes down to how much board you want underfoot and where you're taking it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll sort it out.
Q: What size should I choose?
A: Shorter boards are easier to carry and more manoeuvrable. Longer boards are usually wider, offering more stability and a surf-style feel underfoot. Go shorter for portability, longer for a more flowing and planted ride. Give us a call on 03 9421 2293 and we'll point you in the right direction.
