Fantastic service from twelve - smashed my R2 remote on Boxing Day, ordered a Phaze replacement and got it in time for New Year.
It's a nice looking remote, feels solid and heavy. The screen does look a little delicate without the clear protective cover that the R2 had though.
There are no instructions for pairing included in the box, 100% an evolve decision. It's also difficult to find info on evolve's site for GT/GTX with Phaze.
The wifi variant does not prompt for pairing, you have to turn the board on and then the remote, then hold up/button 1 on the remote - the wifi symbol will start flashing, you have to continue holding up until the remote actually links.
That should be fairly quick - if it doesn't then you've got an older controller and you need to change the remote from the default "V2" pairing method to the older "V1" pairing method:
Turn the remote on, double-press power to get into the setup menu
navigate to "More Info"
double-press power, then double-press up
On this new screens bottom-right corner it'll say V1 or V2, double-clicking power will change mode.
Exit the menu by pressing power, turn the remote off and then try pairing again.
