Both the Belt Drive and Gear Drive Velar share the same 1036Wh battery, dual 6384 150Kv motors, carbon deck, Channel trucks, and 4-year warranty. The difference is purely in how power reaches the wheels. Belt Drive uses precision rubber belts connecting the motors to the wheels — it's tunable, allows pulley swaps to adjust torque and top speed, and the belts can flex slightly to absorb road feedback. Gear Drive uses fully enclosed sealed steel gears with no belts to replace — zero slippage, zero maintenance, constant torque output in all conditions.
