Jones Twin Sister Snowboard | 2027
The Friendly, Women's-Specific All-Mountain Twin
The Jones Twin Sister 2027 is an award-winning women's-specific all-mountain snowboard built to ride everything — from carving groomers and slashing side hits to floating powder and progressing your freestyle game. Designed as a versatile daily driver, it delivers a smooth, confidence-inspiring ride that makes the entire mountain your playground.
Featuring a Directional Twin shape and CamRock profile, the Twin Sister blends freestyle freedom with all-mountain performance. Camber underfoot provides pop, stability, and precise edge hold, while rocker in the nose and tail keeps the ride forgiving, catch-free, and floaty in softer snow. The 3D Contour Base 2.0 features 4mm of spoon bevel in the nose and up to 4mm in the tail, smoothing turn initiation and reducing tip drag without pushing the board in an aggressive direction. Traction Tech 3.0 adds three contact points per edge — centre, front binding, and back binding — for reliable grip when conditions firm up at Australian resorts.
The Master Core uses a 1:1 Paulownia to Poplar dual-density construction for a core that's light, poppy, and durable across the full board length. New for 2027, the Twin Sister gains BComp Carbon/Flax Stringers — the same Swiss-engineered carbon/flax system used in the Mountain Twin — which adds explosive snap while the flax component absorbs chatter for a smoother ride in variable conditions. A Premium Topsheet, recycled ABS sidewalls, oversize recycled steel edges, and Bio Resin epoxy round out a build that takes sustainability seriously without compromising performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the Twin Sister and the Jones Hovercraft 2.0?
The Twin Sister is the all-mountain freestyle board — directional twin shape, centred CamRock profile, and a 6/10 flex tuned equally for park, groomers, and side hits. It's designed to be ridden at standard length and works just as well riding switch as it does forward. The Hovercraft 2.0 is the volume-shifted freeride board — tapered directional shape, directional rocker, and a 6/10 flex tuned more toward powder float and freeride performance. It's designed to be ridden 4–6cm shorter than your standard length and has more bias toward soft snow and natural terrain. If you spend most of your time on-piste, in the park, or doing a mix of everything at the resort, the Twin Sister. If powder days and off-piste are your priority, the Hovercraft 2.0.
What bindings work best with the Twin Sister?
The Twin Sister uses a standard 2x4 insert pattern and suits a soft to medium flex binding that matches its friendly, all-mountain character. From our women's binding range we'd recommend the Burton Lexa, Nitro Fate, or YES. Vetta — all solid matches for a 6/10 all-mountain board. The Lexa is the most versatile all-rounder, the Fate leans slightly softer and more playful, and the YES. Vetta offers a bit more precision for riders who like to drive the board hard on groomers. Not sure what suits you? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or come in and we'll build you a complete setup.
Is the Twin Sister suitable for beginners?
It's best suited to intermediate and advancing riders — someone who can already link turns and wants a board that keeps up as their skills develop. The 6/10 flex is friendlier than a stiff freeride board but it's not as soft as a pure beginner board, and the Traction Tech 3.0 edges and CamRock profile reward a rider who can put them to use. If you're in your first or second season and still working on consistent turns, the Bataleon Feelbetter (3/10 flex with 3BT™ shaping) is the more forgiving option. If you're progressing through intermediate and want a board you'll keep riding for years rather than one you'll outgrow in a season, the Twin Sister is the better investment.
