YES Standard Pro Dustin Craven Snowboard | 2027
Pro-Level Precision
The YES Standard Pro Dustin Craven 2027 is built for riders who push harder, ride faster, and demand absolute response underfoot. Based on the award-winning Standard platform, this is the board Dustin Craven chose to customise for his pro model — a refined, reinforced directional volume twin designed to handle Revelstoke-level terrain and high-speed backcountry freestyle with total confidence. This is a board built for serious riders who want maximum performance across the whole mountain.
Starting from the Standard platform, YES made three focused upgrades. The Cascade Core replaces the Torrent Core with a Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo construction — bamboo rails running the full length add significant stiffness and improve dampening through chopped and variable snow, making the board more composed at high speed and on big landings. Air W Carbon Reinforcement places V-shaped biaxial aerospace carbon stringers extending from both the front and back insert packs to the board's contact points — a full W-shape that enhances binding response, increases torsional stiffness in both directions, and delivers exceptional stability through the entire turn arc. Medium Camber replaces the Standard's CamRock 3-4-3 hybrid profile with a full camber profile for maximum pop, directness, and precision edge hold — no rocker, all contact, full power into every turn.
The Directional Volume Twin shape provides added nose surface area for float and stability without sacrificing the centered stance feel. MidBite steps the sidecut inward between the bindings for stronger edge leverage and carving authority. SlamBack inserts give you a dedicated powder setback without a different board. Forever Flex manufacturing stabilises the flex and rocker profile for the board's lifetime.

Air W Carbon Reinforcement
Air W places true biaxial aerospace carbon fiber stringers in a W-shape — extending from both the front and back insert packs outward to the board's contact points. Where Air L (a straight line) adds longitudinal stiffness and Air V (front inserts only) focuses on nose response, Air W covers the full binding zone in both directions. This enhances binding response, increases torsional stiffness symmetrically across the full stance width, and delivers exceptional stability in deep snow, on big landings, and through aggressive high-speed carving. It's YES's most comprehensive carbon application and what makes the Standard Pro noticeably stiffer and more direct than the standard Standard or Greats.

Sizing Tip
The YES Standard Pro rides true to size but is significantly stiffer and more demanding than the Standard. Choose your regular length if you're an advanced rider comfortable on full camber boards. Consider sizing down slightly if you want quicker manoeuvrability without losing stability — the Cascade Core and Air W carbon make this board feel longer and more planted than its length suggests. This board rewards commitment and input; it's not recommended for intermediate riders or those new to full camber profiles.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Standard Pro different from the regular YES Standard?
Three things: core, carbon, and camber. The Standard uses a Torrent Core (80% Paulownia / 20% Poplar), Freestyle L carbon (L-shape, nose only), CamRock 3-4-3 (hybrid camber/rocker), and has a flex of 6/10. The Standard Pro uses a Cascade Core (Poplar/Paulownia with bamboo rails for more stiffness and dampening), Air W Carbon (W-shape, front and back inserts, full torsional coverage), Medium Camber (full camber, no rocker), and has a flex of 9/10. The Standard is a versatile, forgiving all-mountain board for a broad range of riders. The Standard Pro is a pro-level specialist tool for advanced to expert riders who want maximum directness, pop, and response — built specifically for the way Dustin Craven rides backcountry and big mountain freestyle terrain in Revelstoke.
Is the Standard Pro suitable for the park as well as freeride?
Yes — it's a Directional Volume Twin shape, which means it's switch-capable and balanced enough for freestyle use. Dustin Craven's riding style is genuinely all-mountain freestyle: big mountain drops, backcountry kickers, natural features, and park. The full camber profile delivers explosive pop off kickers and reliable edge hold on landings, and the Air W carbon adds torsional stability that makes heavy hits feel composed. It's significantly more demanding than a dedicated park board and not the right tool for jibbing or pressing rails, but for riders who hit big jumps, send side hits, and spend time in both terrain parks and the backcountry, it holds up across all of it.
What bindings suit the YES Standard Pro?
The Standard Pro's 9/10 flex and full camber demand a binding that can match its stiffness and transfer power effectively. A stiff to very stiff binding is the right call — from our range we'd suggest the Union Atlas, Burton Malavita, or Union Force. Pairing a stiff board with a soft binding creates a disconnect where the board's power can't be fully engaged; a stiffer binding lets you load and release the camber cleanly for maximum pop and edge hold.
