The motor is the proven 48V BAFANG rear-hub rated at 500W continuous output and 100Nm torque, paired with a 48V 20Ah Samsung lithium-ion battery — the same strong core as the V2, now smarter in how it delivers power.

Yes — the EN15194 certified version is legal for public road use in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, ACT, WA, and TAS when operated according to local regulations. Importantly, as of February 2026, all e-bikes sold in NSW must be certified to either UL 2271 & UL 2849 or EN15194 — the Scrambler V3 EN15194 meets this requirement. The pedal assist is capped at 25km/h and cannot be unlocked. The twist throttle operates up to 6km/h on its own (without pedalling), and continues to assist up to 25km/h while pedalling — it must be isolated for public road use.
