Carve Everything.

The Evolve Bamboo GTR Series 2 All Terrain is built for riders who want to go beyond clean pavement. Dirt paths, gravel tracks, chewed-up bike trails, short grass — the 7" pneumatic tyres float over surfaces that would stop a street setup cold. Underneath, it's the same flagship dual-motor platform that powers the entire GTR Series 2 range: dual 3000W brushless sensored motors, 504Wh Samsung battery, Australian-designed Bluetooth FOC controller, and the flexy 3-ply bamboo + 2-ply fibreglass deck that gives this board its signature surf-and-snow carve feel.

Top speed is 38km/h. Range is up to 30km per charge in All Terrain mode. The swappable battery system means you can carry a spare for longer rides or swap to a travel-compatible battery for flights. And if you ever want to add street capability, the Street Kit is available separately — the AT board is fully compatible, so you're not locked in.

The Bluetooth FOC motor controller delivers instant, ultra-smooth power with fully adjustable acceleration and braking curves. Three built-in ride modes — ECO, SPORT, and GTR — give you a range from approachable to flat-out. Dial in the exact feel you want through the Explore By Evolve App, track rides with GPS, compete on global leaderboards, and receive firmware updates over the air.

Why the All Terrain Setup?

✅ 7" Pneumatic Tyres — Cushioned air tyres absorb trail debris, cracks, and rough surfaces; far more comfortable over distance than urethane wheels on imperfect ground
✅ Go Anywhere — Dirt, gravel, short grass, coastal paths, forest trails — terrain that rules out a street board is where the AT setup comes alive
✅ Street-Compatible — Add the Street Kit separately and you have a 2-in-1 without paying for it upfront; the upgrade path is there when you want it
✅ Same Flagship Drivetrain — Dual 3000W motors, 504Wh battery, FOC controller — full GTR Series 2 performance regardless of wheel setup

The Deck and Trucks

The deck is handmade from layered bamboo and fibreglass — flexible enough to absorb road chatter and carve like a surfboard, with a segmented battery enclosure that protects the electronics through the full range of flex. Dual-finned CNC channels in the forged aluminium housing dissipate heat so the motors stay cool and consistent under sustained load. Evolve Super Carve Trucks with adjustable drop-through wheelbase give you a stable, low-slung feel at speed with a double-barrel bushing design that lets you turn on a dime.

Tech Specs

Motors: Dual 3000W brushless sensored 6368 (6000W combined peak)

Battery: 14Ah / 504Wh / 10S4P / Samsung 18650 cells

Top Speed: 38km/h

Range: Up to 30km (All Terrain)

Hill Climb: 25%+

Charge Time: 4–5 hours (standard fast charger included)

Motor Controller: Evolve Bluetooth FOC — fully adjustable acceleration and braking curves

Ride Modes: ECO / SPORT / GTR (plus full custom tuning via app)

Deck: 3-ply bamboo + 2-ply fibreglass | 96cm (38") length

Trucks: Evolve Super Carve — CNC forged + cast, 30.6cm (12") width, double barrel bushing design

Wheelbase: Adjustable 91–94cm (drop-through mount)

Wheels: 7" pneumatic All Terrain (Street Kit sold separately)

Bearings: Evolve Precision Ceramic

Remote: Evolve Phaze — CNC aluminium body, OLED display, dual-trigger throttle and brake

App: Explore By Evolve (iOS + Android) — custom curves, GPS ride tracking, leaderboards, diagnostics, Prism Strip lighting, OTA firmware

Lighting: Dual USB ports for Prism Strip underglow (sold separately)

Battery: Swappable — airline-friendly travel battery option available separately

Weight: 12.1kg

Max Rider Load: 100kg

Warranty: 12 months (manufacturer defects), serviced by Twelve Board Store in-house

What's in the Box

Evolve Bamboo GTR Series 2 board (All Terrain setup)
Evolve Phaze Remote + charging cable, carry case, and lanyard
Fast charger
Y-tool
Spare hardware
Carry case
Manual and sticker pack

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add Street wheels to the All Terrain board later?

Yes — the GTR Series 2 AT is fully compatible with the Evolve Street Kit. You can add street wheels later and swap between setups in a few minutes with the Y-tool. If you already know you want both, the 2-in-1 bundle is better value. If you're AT-focused and want the option later, the AT board is the right starting point. We can walk you through both in store.

Can I take the GTR Series 2 on a plane?

The standard 504Wh battery exceeds most airline carry-on limits (typically 100Wh without approval, 160Wh with airline approval). Evolve offers a separate airline-friendly travel battery option — ask us about availability. Always confirm with your airline before travelling.

Is the GTR Series 2 suitable for beginners?

It's a high-performance board with serious power — ECO mode and app-adjustable curves make it approachable, but new riders should expect a learning curve. Start in ECO mode, dial back the acceleration curve in the app, and wear full safety gear. Demo rides are available 7 days a week at our Melbourne showroom. Most riders with any board sport background get comfortable quickly.

How does the Bamboo GTR compare to the Carbon GTR Series 2?

Both share the same dual 3000W motors, 504Wh battery, FOC controller, and Phaze Remote. The difference is the deck: Bamboo uses a flexible bamboo + fibreglass composite for a softer, more forgiving ride with natural flex; Carbon uses a stiffer full-carbon deck for a more rigid, locked-in feel at speed. Bamboo suits riders who want a surfy, flexible carve; Carbon suits riders who want maximum stiffness and precision. Both are available to ride in our Melbourne showroom.

About Evolve Skateboards

Evolve Skateboards is an Australian company — designed and developed in Australia, and one of the most established names in high-performance electric skateboarding globally. The GTR Series 2 is their flagship dual-motor platform, built for riders who want genuine all-terrain capability without giving up the carving feel of a real longboard.
